E-signature Card for Ministry of Labour Transactions

Required Documents:

+ Emirates ID.
+ Passport Copy.
+ One photograph with white background.
+ Trade License copy and Labour Establishment Card copy.
+ Fee: Dh123 (Pay at Tawjeeh Centre)
+ Card will be issued and activated same time at Tawjeeh Centre.

E-Signature Card Update

If your e-Signature card is inactive, you should replace it with new features through Tawjeeh Centre.
Required Documents:
Original E-Signature Card and Emirates ID.

Fee: Dh123 at Tawjeeh Centre.

Lost: If your e-Signature lost, go to Tawjeeh Centre to deactivate it and apply for new card.
Dh123. Card will be issued same time. The card holder should attend there to activate the card.

E-signature card system was implemented by Ministry of Labour in UAE to minimize the procedures when dealing with the companies.

The e-signature system comes as a replacement to the Signature Authorization Card scheme, which required the Authorized Signatory or the company owner’s signature for each transaction with the Ministry.

Under the new e-signature system, a card containing a code number will be issued to all company owners or authorized signatories, and the code number will be required to be entered for each transaction with the Ministry.

According to the new e-system the authorized signatory and the company owner are completely held responsible for the card and only those with code number on the card would be allowed to transact with the Ministry. In the event of the card being lost, a complaint should be filed for blocking the code number immediately. The telephone numbers for filing complaints are printed behind the card.

When a new company or establishment seeks application for a company card with the Ministry, an e-signature card is issued in the name of the owner simultaneously. The applicants are required to personally approach the ministry for activation of the card, and in case the company owner wishes another individual to use the card, the user should be given a Power of Attorney.

Payment should be made through E-Dirham Card at Thas’heel Centre. You can Buy E-Dirham Card from any branch of National Bank of Abu Dhabi or from Aafaq Islamic Finance Company found at Thas’heel branches. Take your Emirates ID & Passport copy to for E-dirham Card.
